A: What are you going to do in the future?

將來你打算做什麼？

B: I'll take a stand with chinese medicine.

我打算獻身中華醫學。

A: Few young people are interested in it nowadays. You are so different from others.

現在很少有年輕人對此感興趣了，你真是與衆不同。

一， 詞海拾貝

take a stand

exp. To publicly assert one's unyielding support of, defense of, or opposition to something. （公開對……的支持，捍衛，公開對……的反對，堅定立場）

e.g. If he wants my vote he'll have to take a stand on the question of free trade.

如果他要我投他的票，他就必須在自由貿易問題上採取堅定的立場。

e.g. All the other kids in the class were too afraid to speak out but Georgina took a stand for what she knew was right.

班上所有的孩子都不敢說出來，但Georgina表明了立場，認爲她所知道的事情是對的。
