永別和再見，N句美劇流行口語教你道別
Goodbye ['gud'bai] 再見。最熟悉、最經典的道別方式。相對比較正式，在提交辭呈或戀人分手時常用。
【美劇實例】《豪斯醫生》第一季第17集
Cameron: You’re abrasive and rude, but I figured everything you do, you do it to help people. But I was wrong. You do it because it’s right. There are only two ways I can deal with things. One is in my control. That’s to leave. Goodbye, House.
【來歷】來自中世紀英語中的短語“God be with ye”，意思是“上帝與你同在”，在中世紀後期，縮略成了“Godbyye”或“”。
【演變】Bye bye. Bye. [bai] 是Goodbye的口語化，較爲常用。還有wave goodbye表示揮別，kiss goodbye表示吻別。

【演變】Later. See you. 其中See you在實際語言流通中往往發生語音變化，從而成爲See ya；在網上更是根據讀音經常寫成cya。使用頻率很高。
Peace out. 走好。常用的俚語道別方式。可伴以相應手勢。
【來歷】peace在60年代逐漸成爲道別語。而out則來自於雙向無線電通信結束通話時的標準用語“over and out”。
【手勢】右手握拳雙擊胸口，然後打出勝利“V”手勢。
Take care. 保重。帶有關照意味的道別方式。原本應該用於掛掉電話之前，但逐漸在關係親密的人之間使用頻繁。

toodles. 再見。女性或名人較爲常用，男生如果使用的話可能會被有些人誤以爲是gay。

Sharpay: You are so dedicated. Just like me. I hope you come watch me in the musical. Promise? Toodles!
Troy: Toodles.
【來歷】一說有可能是來自於"toot"這個名詞，表示小號吹出來的聲音，是舞會最後一支舞曲的終結；還有說源自於“I'm off 'to the loo'.”——“我上廁所去了。”

So Long. 源自印度語

【備註】據說印度語原詞salaam是再見的意思，英國士兵從東印度返回日不落的時候也帶回了這個詞，但他們當然發音不準確啦，就說成了so long，久而久之so long便成了常用的道別用辭。
Farewell. 源自挪威語

【備註】從維金人一支中發展出的英語，原詞是挪威語“far vell”，意思是“一路順風”。在英語中多用於正式場合，或者長時間的別離，或永別。
