新聞熱詞：“闢謠”怎麼說

自好萊塢影后妮可·基德曼與歌手凱斯·厄本結婚不久，外界就一直盛傳妮可是奉子成婚，並不斷有狗仔拍到她疑似小腹隆起的照片。日前，妮可的發言人發表聲明，說妮可並沒有懷孕，“小腹隆起的照片”純屬捏造。

After a magazine paid ?ê10,500 for a picture supposedly showing her with a pregnant belly, the star felt it necessary to comment on the situation.

對於rumor（謠言）我們並不陌生，這裏主要談一談與其相關的動詞搭配。

先說“闢謠”，除了和動詞deny搭配外，rumor也可做blast的賓語。Blast原指“炸彈爆炸”，後引申爲“猛烈攻擊，（希望）破滅”，如：The candidate leveled a blast at her opponent.（候選人向她的對手發出攻擊）；Prospects for peace have blasted.（和平的前景破滅了。）

“傳播（謠言）”可用動詞spread，circulate或broadcast；“捏造”謠言則用動詞fabricate。在報道中，doctor也指“篡改；捏造”，指用技術手段作假，如：to doctor the evidence（假造證據）。

另外，漢語中的“八卦”常用“gossip”（流言，謠傳）來形容。
