“Work”一詞，想必大家都很熟悉啦，但是對於“work”的用法和詞組搭配，你又知道多少呢？今天我們就來學習一些含有“work”的英文表達。
1. dirty work 必須要做的但很無聊或很難的工作；吃力不討好的工作
例句：He did the dirty work on that project. 他在那個項目中做的是吃力不討好的活兒。
2. get down to work 開始做重要的事情；完成重要的任務
例句：Sorry, I've got to get off the phone and get down to work. 對不起，我必須放下電話開始工作了。
3. make short work of something 很快完成
例句：I made short work of the assignment and moved on to the next job. 我很快地就完成了任務開始下一項工作了。
4. work like a horse 辛勤工作，非常努力的工作
例如：He works like a horse. 他工作非常努力！
5. work out for the best 最後完成得很好
例句：Don't worry about your problems. Everything will work out for the best. 別擔心你的問題，所有的事情最後都會好的。
6. throw a monkey wrench in the works 把看上去很清楚明白的事情攪亂
例句：I hate to throw a monkey wrench in the works, but don't you think we should ask Andy to help? 我討厭把事情攪亂，但是你不認爲我們應該找安迪幫忙嗎？
