The palm trees in a row by the lake are smiting their heads against the dismal sky; the crows with their draggled wings are silent on the tamarind branches, and the eastern bank of the river is haunted by a deepening gloom. 湖邊的一行棕樹，向暝暗的天空撞着頭;羽毛零亂的烏鴉，靜悄悄地棲在羅望子的枝上，河的東岸正被烏沉沉的暝色所侵襲。
Our cow is lowing loud, tied at the fence. 我們的牛系在籬上，高聲鳴叫。
