The get-togethers - which have been held in New York and Los Angeles and are planned for other cities - ask guests to submit a slept-in T-shirt that will be smelled by other participants. Then, you can pick your partner based on scent.

美國紐約、洛杉磯等地已經舉辦過這種聚會，組織者也計劃把它推廣到其它城市。參加者必須帶一件睡覺時穿過的T恤，然後，讓其他人隨意來嗅。你可以通過氣味來選出“合鼻緣”的約會對象。

It also has a root in science. Researchers have shown that humans can use scent to sort out genetic combinations that could lead to weaker offspring.
