我國教育水平世界中上 義務教育普及率超多國

Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China in 2012, China's overall education development has outpaced many countries around the world, thanks to the central government's efforts to improve the sector.

自2012年中國共產黨第十八次全國代表大會以來，得益於中央政府改善教育事業的努力，我國教育事業總體發展水平已經超越世界上許多國家。

The retention ratio of nine-year compulsory education reached 99.9%, higher than the upper-income countries.

其中，九年義務教育淨入學率達到99.9%，高於高收入國家。

The gross enrollment ratio for China's preschool education came to 77.4%, higher than the average of upper-middle-income countries of 69.2%.

而學前教育毛入學率達77.4%，高於中高收入國家69.2%的平均水平。

The gross enrollment ratio for senior secondary education and higher education reached 87% and 42.7%, respectively, both of which are higher than the average of upper-middle-income countries.

高中階段教育和高等教育毛入學率則分別達到87%和42.7%，均高於中高收入國家平均水平。

To make sure that no student drops out of school due to poverty, China has spent over 4% of GDP on education for five straight years.

爲了保證沒有學生因貧困輟學，我國教育支出佔國內生產總值（GDP）的比例連續五年在4%以上。
