大選失利 近半數英國人希望特雷莎·梅辭職

Nearly half of Britons think Prime Minister Theresa May should stand down as Prime Minister, according to a poll conducted since the general election.

英國大選後進行的一項民調顯示，近半英國人認爲首相特雷莎·梅應當離職。

The YouGov poll for The Sunday Times suggested just 38% back her to stay.

這項由YouGov爲《星期日泰晤士報》進行的民調顯示，僅38%的人支持她留任。

If Mrs May were to resign, some 41% of voters thought she should go immediately, and a further 20% believed she should quit in the next six months.

如果特雷莎·梅真的辭職的話，有41%的民衆認爲她應當立即離開，而有20%的人則認爲她應在6個月內離開。

But 23% said Mrs May should go after she has finished negotiating Britain's departure from the European Union.

但也有23%的民衆認爲，梅應該在英國脫歐談判後離職。

YouGov also found that May and Jeremy Corbyn tied at 39% when the public was asked who would make the best prime minister.

YouGov還發現，當民衆被問及誰將成爲最好的首相時，梅與傑里米·科爾賓的支持率旗鼓相當，均爲39%。

In the poll, Boris Johnson appeared to be the favorite to replace the former Home Secretary, with 26% of the public backing him.
