文職官員權力被削弱[qh]The Japanese Diet has enacted legislation stripping civilian defense bureaucrats of seniority over uniformed Self-Defense Forces officers, placing them on an equal footing.

日本國會近日通過一項法律，取消了防衛省文職官員相對於自衛隊軍職官員的"統領"地位，文職與軍職因此變成了平級。

The change reflects the increasing importance of the judgment of SDF commanders as the forces' roles have expanded to include UN peacekeeping missions overseas and disaster relief.

此項更改後，此前已將行動職權擴大到聯合國海外維和任務以及災難救援的自衛隊，權力範圍又進一步擴大了。
