巴黎冷知識： 巴黎地下有個巨大的神祕墓穴

巴黎最神祕、最詭異的景點應該要數巴黎地下墓穴 Catacombs of Paris

它是巴黎街道下面一個龐大的隧道系統，在1786年巴黎爆發大瘟疫之後開始作爲公共墓穴使用，總共收納了600萬人的遺骸。

這裏現在已經成了可供參觀的景點，你可以進去看看由人類骨頭堆成的牆壁。

The Catacombs of Paris (Catacombes de Paris) are an underground network beneath the streets of Paris, and the final resting place of over 6 million people. Half a million visitors head down to the darkness of the Catacombs each year. Upon entry, they are greeted with a sign reading “Stop. This is the empire of death”. Officially opened in 1810, the Catacombs were a burial site from the 1780’s onwards due to overflowing cemeteries above ground that were leading to the spread of disease. You can visit the ossuaries of the Paris Catacombs as a part of the official tour groups that run daily. 

巴黎地下墓穴是巴黎街道下的一個地下通道，這裏是600多萬人最終的安息地。每年有50萬名遊客會前往這個黑暗的地下墓穴。一進入墓穴，遊客們就會看到一個標牌，上面寫着“停下！這裏是死亡之國”。巴黎地下墓穴於1810年正式開放，因爲地面上堆滿了墓地，導致了疾病的傳播，於是從18世紀80年代起，這裏就成爲一個墓葬之地。你可以跟着每天運營的官方旅行團一起參觀巴黎地下墓穴的藏骨堂。

這個墓穴系統真的相當龐大，具體規模現在還不知道，據估算有320公里，而現在開放的僅僅是2公里。

墓穴的很多區域還根本沒有被探索過，它們不在巴黎政府的掌握範圍內，還有不少地方是無法進入的。

事實上，巴黎官方對墓穴系統的掌握真的很有限，他們甚至曾在墓穴中發現有人搭建好了齊全的生活設施，但從未查明是誰搭建的。

Much of the system are inaccessible and yet to be explored, however unauthorized visitors with “connections” have been spotted swimming in the pools of water found throughout the network. But wait…there’s more. Police in 2004 found an entire cinema setup, restaurant and bar with power connected right in the depths of the Catacombs…with CCTV…and a note that read “Do not try and find us.” The police have never found out who was living down there…

墓穴系統的多數區域是無法進入的，還有很多待探索的區域，然而，有人發現，有未經授權但“有人脈”的遊客在地下通道的水池中游泳。而且等等…這裏還有更多人。2004年警方在地下墓穴的深處發現了一個配備齊全的電影院、餐廳和酒吧，裏面有閉路電視，還有一張紙條，上面寫着“不要試圖找到我們”。警方從未查明住在那裏的人是誰……

據說，二戰時期法國抵抗軍和德國納粹都利用了這個地穴系統，但他們似乎並沒有在隧道里碰上，這裏是真的夠大。

另外值得一提的就是，蘑菇種植曾經是地下墓穴裏的一項大買賣，這要歸功於這裏潮溼、陰暗的環境。你敢吃嗎？
