這家咖啡廳最早營業於1686年，那時候還是我們這邊的清朝初年。

The Café Procope, in rue de l'Ancienne Comédie, 6th arrondissement, is called the oldest café of Paris in continuous operation. It was opened in 1686 by a Sicilian chef and was a hub of the artistic and literary community in 18th and 19th century Paris. However, the original café closed in 1872 and did not reopen as a café until the 1920s, so the claim of "oldest café in continuous operation" is not entirely true.

位於第6區古梅街的普羅索普咖啡館被稱爲巴黎持續經營的最古老的咖啡館。1686年，西西里島的一位廚師開了這家咖啡館，在18~19世紀，這裏成爲巴黎藝術和文學社區的中心。然而，最初的咖啡館於1872年停業了，直到1920年代才重新開張，因此“持續經營的最古老的咖啡館”並不完全正確。
