印度逮捕涉嫌強姦美國女遊客的嫌犯

Indian police said Thursday that three Nepalese men have been arrested in connection with the rape of an American woman near the northern Indian tourist town of Manali.

印度警方週四說，與一名美國女子在印度北部旅遊城市馬那裏附近遭強姦一案有牽連的三名尼泊爾男子已經被捕。

The 30-year-old woman was raped and robbed by three men early Tuesday morning after accepting an offer from a truck driver to take her back to her guesthouse in Manali from a nearby town, police said, citing a complaint filed by the woman.

警方援引這名30歲女子報案時的話說，她週二早間遭到三名男子的強姦和搶劫，此前一名卡車司機說可以讓她搭“順風車”回自己在默納利入住的旅館，這名女子接受了這一提議。

Authorities have not formally charged the men. They don't yet have lawyers. Attempts to reach the men weren't successful.
