美國一優步司機因涉嫌槍殺乘客被捕

Uber says it is 'deeply troubled' after one of its drivers shot and killed a passenger over an alleged fight last Friday.

在公司一名司機被指控於上週五槍殺了一名乘客之後，Uber方面表示對此“深感不安”。

Michael Hancock, 29, was arrested for shooting dead husband and father-of-one Hyun Soo Kim, 45, on a Denver highway.

這名29歲、名叫邁克爾·漢考克的司機，因在丹佛高速公路上槍殺了今年45歲、是一位丈夫也是一個孩子的父親的金秀玄而遭到逮捕。

In a statement, Uber told CBS News: 'We are deeply troubled by the events in Denver. Our thoughts are with the families of those involved.'

在一份聲明中，Uber告訴CBS新聞：“我們對丹佛事件深感困擾。我們的心和受害者家屬在一起。”

The incident took place at around 2.45am while the ride-sharing vehicle was traveling in the southbound lanes of Interstate 25 near University Boulevard.

這起事件發生在凌晨2點45分左右，當時該車輛正在丹佛大學附近的25號州際公路南向車道上行駛。

According to investigators, the Uber driver called 911 to report the shooting. He also allegedly told a witness that he opened fire after his customer tried to attack Him.

調查人員稱，是這名Uber司機撥打的911，報告了這起槍擊事件。據悉，他還告訴一名目擊者，自己是在這名乘客試圖攻擊他之後纔開的槍。

However, according to a partially redacted police report, Hancock declined to discuss the shooting with investigators without a lawyer.

不過，根據部分修訂的警方報告顯示，漢考克拒絕在沒有律師在場的情況下與調查人員討論該槍擊事件。

Officers who responded to the scene attempted CPR, but the man could not be revived after suffering multiple gunshot wounds, reported The Denver Channel. Denver Police Department spokesman Sonny Jackson said preliminary information points to a conflict between Hancock and his passenger.

據The Denver Channel報道，迅速趕到現場的警方人員曾試圖進行心肺復甦，但該男子在遭受多處槍傷後還是不幸身亡。丹佛警察局發言人索尼·傑克遜表示，初步消息指向，司機漢考克和他的乘客之間發生了衝突。
