研究:男性比女性更易戒除煙癮

The study found that while women may be highly motivated to quit, they are actually less likely to succeed than men.

Researchers looked at studies from between 1990 and 2007 to work out the success rates for NHS schemes to help people stop.

'For example, because gender, ethnicity, class, age and level of dependency affect success in giving up smoking, tailored interventions may help to improve cessation rates,' a spokesman from the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence and from the UK Centre for Tobacco Control Studies said.
