商務部對美國製裁中興作出迴應

The Ministry of Commerce said last Tuesday that China stands ready to take necessary measures to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese companies.
商務部上週二表示，中國隨時準備採取必要措施維護中國企業的合法權益。

The comments came in response to media reports that the US is banning American companies from selling components to Chinese telecom equipment maker ZTE Corp for seven years.
近日有媒體報道，美國正禁止該國企業向中國通訊設備製造商中興通訊公司銷售元器件，期限長達七年。商務部的上述言論便是對此作出的迴應。

ZTE Corp, a leading Chinese telecom equipment vendor, has conducted extensive trade and investment cooperation with hundreds of US companies and contributed tens of thousands of jobs to the US.
中興通訊公司是國內領先的通訊設備企業，已與數百家美國企業開展廣泛的貿易投資合作，爲美國貢獻了數以萬計的就業崗位。

It is hoped that the US will properly handle the matter in accordance with regulations and create a fair, equitable and stable legal and policy environment for the enterprise, the ministry said in a statement.
商務部在一份聲明中稱，希望美方依法依規，妥善處理，併爲企業創造公正、公平、穩定的法律和政策環境

The ministry will pay close attention to the progress of the situation and stands ready to take necessary measures to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese companies, it added.
該聲明還指出，商務部將密切關注事態發展，並準備好採取必要措施維護中國企業的合法權益。

ZTE said "It is assessing the full range of potential implications that this event has on the company and is communicating with relevant parties proactively in order to respond accordingly."
中興方面聲稱“正在評估該事件對公司的潛在影響，並正在積極與相關各方溝通，以作出相應的迴應。”

ZTE accounts for about 10 percent of the global telecom equipment market, and 30 percent of the Chinese telecom market.
目前中興佔全球電信設備市場約10%的市場份額，佔中國電信設備市場約30%的市場份額。
