影視英語口語:蜘蛛俠or超人?

Bella: What does that mean?
Edward: It means if you were smart, you'd stay away from me.

【34】背景知識：Edible art
Edible art直譯就叫做可食藝術，聽起來有點深奧，就是將食物碼放成圖案狀，這麼說來咱中餐好多擺盤都能算是edible art咯，還包括日本壽司很有講究的那種裝盤。
日本和臺灣那邊很流行的漂亮愛心便當都算在其中哦，下面這個是很有Twilight特色的一個蛋糕~~

【35】詞彙講解：your mood swings are kind of giving me whiplash.
mood swings很形象，就是情緒波動，指的是愛德華對待貝拉的態度忽冷忽熱。
而whiplash本意是鞭笞，這裏是一個引申出來的意義，表示傷害、傷痛。
整句話翻譯出來就是：你老這麼忽冷忽熱的我可受不了。

【36】口語講解：for argument's sake that I'm not smart
for XXX's sake是個很常用的詞組，表示看在什麼的份兒上。for heaven's sake就是老外超愛說的一句口頭禪，見過有翻譯成“餓滴神啊”或者“要了親命了”，都很傳神。
這邊for argument's sake則是表示爲了不再爭論，我就退一步承認我是很不聰明。

【37】背景知識：radioactive spiders and Kryptonite.
受到過輻射的蜘蛛和氪星用以指代蜘蛛俠和超人，彼得·帕克被一隻變異的蜘蛛咬了之後被賦予了蜘蛛的超能力，而超人則來自外星球氪星。

【38】詞組講解：I can see what you're trying to put off
put off是個大詞，我們最早學到的意思就有“熄滅”，後來還學過“延期”等等。
這裏則是作爲“搪塞”來解釋。

【39】口語講解：Why don't we just hang out?☀
hang out也在口語中用得非常多，動不動就會在美劇裏面聽見。表示和朋友一起出去玩，不管是逛街啦、K歌啦、還是看演唱會打球什麼都算在其中。
