泰國王辭世進入國喪期 赴泰國遊客需注意衣着

The Chinese embassy in Thailand issued a notice requiring Chinese tourists to obey local customs while Thai people mourn the passing of their late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, who died at age 88 last Thursday.

泰國國王普密蓬·阿杜德於上週四逝世，享年88歲，泰國民衆近日紛紛開展悼念活動。中國駐泰國大使館發佈通知，要求中國遊客遵守當地習俗。

The Thai government declared one year of official mourning and asked Thais to wear black and avoid festivities for 30 days.

泰國政府宣佈了爲期一年的國喪期，要求泰國民衆在接下來的30天內穿黑色衣服並停止一切娛樂活動。

Although the dress code does not apply to tourists, "they should, if possible, wear sombre and respectful clothing when in public", said local tourism authorities.

雖然該着裝要求並不適用於遊客，但泰國旅遊部門稱，遊客在公共場合也應儘可能穿暗色系、端莊的服飾。

Tourist attractions will be open as usual, except Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha) and the Grand Palace, where the royal funeral rites will take place.

各大旅遊景點將如常開放，但玉佛寺和大王宮將因舉行王室葬禮而暫時關閉。

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha called on the Thai people to wear black clothing during the one-year period.

泰國總理帕拉育呼籲泰國國民在一年的國喪期中穿黑色衣服。

The Chinese embassy also publicized assistance hotlines, 0066-854833327 (around the clock) and 0066-2-2457010 (9 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekdays).
