國際熱氣球盛會,千奇百怪齊放飛

The largest mass ascent of hot air balloons took place recently at the biennial Lorraine Mondial Air Ballons rally in Chambley, France. Pilots from around the world lifted off in 329 balloons.

兩年一屆的國際熱氣球盛會Lorraine Mondial熱氣球展在法國Chambley舉行。在場飛行員們共放飛329只熱氣球。

The "Lorraine Mondial Air Ballons", which is Europe's largest hot air balloon festival takes place here every two years at the end of July.

Lorraine Mondial熱氣球展是歐洲最大的熱氣球盛會，它在每隔一年的7月底召開。

It represents a thousand participants, 67 nations, between 400 and 500 accredited journalists, 170 sponsors, between 300,000 and 450,000 spectators depending on the year, 300 people involved in its organisation, and a budget of more than two million Euros.

展會聚集了來自67個國家的上千名參展者，包括4百多名記者，170名贊助廠商，還有30萬到45萬名觀衆，300名組織人員。展會耗資2百萬美元。

In fact, this has become a well-known, recognised event, something dreamed up by a madman but which is now of major interest for tourism.
