劍指韓國市場 螞蟻金服投資'韓國版微信'!

Ant Financial Services Group, a division of Chinese e-commerce firm Alipay, has reportedly invested 200 million US dollars in a South Korean payment platform.

螞蟻金服是中國電商公司阿里巴巴的一個下屬公司，據報道其已經爲韓國的一家支付平臺投資了2億美元。

KakaoPay will be a subsidiary company of South Korean Internet giant Kakao, which also owns the country's most popular communications software, Kakao Talk.

KakaoPay將成爲韓國互聯網巨頭Kakao的子公司，Kakao旗下有韓國最流行的社交軟件Kakao Talk。

Kakao Talk covers 97 percent of South Korean smartphone users and began offering payment services three years ago. Now, one-fourth of the software's users are also using the payment feature.

Kakao Talk覆蓋了97%的智能手機用戶，並在3年前開通了支付服務。現如今，大約有四分之一的該軟件用戶也正在使用支付功能。

The new payment platform will be accepted at 34,000 shops where Alipay has been available already. The company will also expand its payment service to more shops where both KakaoPay and Alipay are available.

新的支付平臺將被34000家已使用支付寶的商戶接受使用。此外，該公司還會將支付服務擴大到更多的商店，使KakaoPay和支付寶均可使用。

Ant Financial Senior Vice President Douglas Feagin said South Korea is a significant market for Ant Financial's global strategy and Kakao has a good reputation among users. The cooperation will benefit the two in mobile payments and innovation services.

Ant Financial invested in Paytm - India's largest mobile e-commerce website - in 2015. Over the past two years, the number of Paytm users has surged from 20 million to 200 million.

2015年，螞蟻金服投資了印度最大的移動電子商務網站Paytm。在過去的兩年裏，Paytm的用戶數量從2000萬漲到了2億。

In November last year, Ant Financial reached agreement with Thailand's payment service provider Ascend Money and is expected to serve over half of Thailand's Internet users.

在去年11月，螞蟻金服與泰國支付服務企業Ascend Money達成戰略合作，預計將服務超過半數的泰國互聯網用戶。
