中國的旗袍

The general characteristics of the early QiPao were a single piece of cloth that would cover the whole body,down to the feet. Around the neck, the collar would be high to help secure outfit. The materials was loose,with slits on the side only allow for easier movement.

早期旗袍的一般特點是單件覆蓋全身，長度直到腳。在脖子上，高衣領使服裝穩當。該材料是寬鬆的，上側開衩使更容易走動。

While the Qing Dynasty fell，the center of Chinese fashion became Shanghai,where the Western influence was the highest. It was there that the form of QiPao we see most commonly today：slender fit and shorter sleeves,with two big slits at each side of the hem,for convenient movement, but now wonderfully display the slender legs of women. Simplicity is one of its features from the collar, loop, chest, waist and hips to the lower hem. QiPao almost varies with a woman's figure. Practicality always goes with beauty. Like a Chinese woman's temperament, QiPao is elegant and gentle.

清代滅亡後，上海成爲中國的時尚中心，那裏受西方的影響最深。這就是我們今天看到的最常見的旗袍的形式：修長健美的短衣袖，有兩個大開衩在下襬兩側，方便行走，但現在奇妙顯示女性的修長美腿。簡單是從衣領，頸，胸部，腰部和臀部到下襬的特點之一。旗袍幾乎是隨人物形象而變化的。特別是穿在美人身上。像中國女人的氣質，穿上旗袍是優雅而溫柔的。
