About Clothes Texture
關於服飾的質地Clothes are different not because of their style and design,but because of the cloth texture too. With the development of silk dyeing industry, silk clothing is various in color and so they are called in many ways, such as “絹（juan)，縑（jian)，素（su)，紈（wan)，紗（sha)，綃(xiao)，綢(chou)，羅 (luo) ” ,etc. These words tell how silk are made and dyed in various ways and,at the same time, show also the class difference when people are dressed in different silk.
衣服不同不只是因爲他們的風格和設計，布料的質地也會有影響。隨着絲綢印染行業的發展，絲綢服裝有各種各樣的顏色，因此它們有許多叫法，如“絹，縑，素，紈，紗，綃，綢，羅”，等等。這些叫法反映了絲綢是如何製成的，並用各種方式染色，同時，當人們都穿着不同的絲綢，也表明了不同的階級。
