美國習慣用語 第851:the end of the line

最近我的一個朋友心情特別差，因爲他已經工作了10多年的服裝店要關門了。這家店多年來一直銷售手工衣物，但是現在服裝連鎖店越來越多，這家店已經沒辦法繼續經營下去了。對於這家店和店裏的員工，我們可以用下面的習慣用語來形容: the end of the line.
