（誤譯）貓也可以打量國王。
（正譯）小人物也有權利。或者人人平等。（Even a purported inferior has certain privileges in the presence of a purported superior.）

It is our belief that every body is equal before the law. 我們相信法律面前人人平等。

equality n. 平等；相等；[數] 等式

Is that the genuine equality of the sexes? 這難道是真正的男女平等嗎？

She says women must do more to gain economic equality. 她說婦女必須要付出更多才能贏得經濟上的平等。

authority n. 權威；權力；當局

He was widely regarded as a leading authority on nutrition. 人們普遍認爲他是營養學方面的著名權威。

That could add authority and legitimacy to council decisions. 這可增加理事會決議的權威性和合法性。

authoritativeness n. authoritative的變形

authoritative adj.
