南非人也吃咖喱，當地非常盛行的一道晚餐菜餚就是咖喱肉末蛋 Bobotie

這是一道以肉末和雞蛋爲主要食材的菜，這種咖喱的風味和我們通常吃到的印度咖喱不太一樣，除了有辛香味，還帶有甜味。

裏面的常見配料包括葡萄乾和杏仁。
