一生的守候 15歲臨終狗狗見證主人婚禮時刻!

Fifteen-year-old Labrador Charlie Bear had watched his owner, Kelly O'Connell, become an adult.

15歲的拉布拉多犬查理·貝爾看着他的主人凱莉·奧康奈爾長大成人。

He managed to be there for one last milestone in her life after contracting a brain tuMor. Most people thought Charlie wouldn't live long enough to witness Kelly's wedding.

查理罹患腦瘤後，很多人以爲他活不到親眼見證主人婚禮的時刻，但查理捱到了那一刻，最後一次見證凱莉的人生大事。

The faithful dog was found abandoned at 12 weeks old and was adopted by Kelly. Since then, the two have been best friends.

這隻忠誠的狗狗在12周大時遭遺棄，之後被人發現，凱莉收養了他。此後，他們成了最好的朋友。

But a few months ago, Kelly learned Charlie was dying; he started having seizures caused by a brain tumor.

但幾個月前，凱莉得知查理快不行了；他開始出現腦瘤發作的症狀。

Kelly planned to have the dog put to sleep, but suddenly the seizures stopped. Charlie's ability to walk improved.

凱莉已經打算讓查理安樂死了，但他的腦瘤突然不再發作了。查理的行動力有所好轉。

On the day of the wedding, he made it down the aisle but was too tired to walk back on his own.

在婚禮當天，他走過了紅毯，但是卻疲憊得無法自己走回去。

"My husband James and I just grabbed onto him, and we just kept saying, 'You made it, buddy, you made it.'" Kelly said.

凱莉說道：“我的丈夫詹姆斯和我緊緊抓住了他，我們不斷地在說'你做到了，夥計，你做到了。'”

Eight days after the wedding, Charlie passed away.

婚禮後8天，查理去世了。

Kelly told BuzzFeed she was happy he lived long enough to attend her wedding. She said: "It was a phenomenal moment. It was a phenomenal 15 years."

凱莉向BuzzFeed網站透露，她很高興查理能堅持到參加自己的婚禮。她說：“這是一個非凡的時刻。這是一個非凡的15年。”
