1. 解詞釋義

Put all your eggs in one’s basket的意思是“孤注一擲”“集中財力幹一件事”“把一切希望寄於一件事上”“把全部財力投入一件事情”。如果把所有的雞蛋都放在一個籃子裏，一旦籃子落地，所以的雞蛋就破了，這個道理淺顯易懂。所以Don’t put all your eggs in one’s basket.是告誡人們不要孤注一擲。如果把一切希望，金錢和信心都託付於一項事業，計劃或一次投機的話，這往往帶有很大的冒險性。我們應該隨機應變，因爲靈活多變是我們通向勝利的前提。
