Years ago I went to London and had a super wonderful trip there. I lived in one of the host families. Since it was my first time abroad, it was a bit of culture shock for me.
幾年前我去倫敦經歷了一次超棒的旅行。我當時住在寄宿家庭裏，鑑於這是我第一次出國，這次經歷對我造成了不小的文化衝擊。
The tap water - Can’t believe that we can drink the water from the tap directly! In China there is no possibility for us to do that. Even when we need to wash some fruit or something we will use the purified water. Every family has at least one water purifier (mine have three). This is because the water pollution in our country is very serious. It cannot be denied.
自來水——難以置信我們會直接喝水龍頭流出來的水！在中國我們不可能那麼做。就算我們要洗一些水果或是別的東西我們也會用純淨水。每個家庭至少有一臺淨水器（我們家有三臺）。這是因爲我們國家的水污染很嚴重。這是無法否認的。
Shoeless - The children from my host hardly wore shoes even when they played in the yard. I tried but gave up. It hurts a lot!!!
不穿鞋——接待家庭的孩子幾乎不穿鞋，就算他們在院子裏玩也不穿。我曾嘗試過不穿鞋但是後來放棄了。太疼了！！！
Friendly - When I hung out, there were a lot of strangers saying ‘Hi’ to me. And most of them said it in Chinese. So sweet! In China, when we see foreigners, most of us feel shy to say ‘Hello’. But for once, I said ‘Hi’ to a foreigner at Starbucks and she smiled back at me. Not that weird actually.
親切友好——我出門的時候，有很多陌生人會向我打招呼，而且大部分人都是用中文說。太貼心了！在中國，在看到陌生人時，我們大部分人會覺得害羞，不敢打招呼。不過有一次，我在星巴克跟一個外國人說了聲“嗨”，她回了我一個微笑。實際上那感覺還不錯。
Weird Chinese on clothes - Sometimes I saw the people wearing Tees with strange Chinese on them. I don’t know whether they knew the meaning or not...
衣服上的奇怪漢字——有時候我看見有人穿印着奇怪中文的T恤，我不懂他們到底知不知道上面的意思……
Actually I think the feeling that we have is same as that of western people when they see weird letters on our clothes. :D
其實我想這種感覺就像西方人看到我們衣服上印有奇怪字母時的一樣。:D
