長難句（10）
1、【原文】
In the American economy, the concept of private property embraces not only the ownership of productive resources but also certain rights, including the right to determine the price of a product or to make a free contract with another private individual.
2、【分析】
本句話結構比較簡單，句首是狀語，主語是the concept of private property，謂語動詞是embraces，後面的賓語用not only….but also…連接，第二個賓語certain rights後面是including引導的結構作爲解釋，the right後面是or連接的to determine和to make構成並列。

這個句子的難點在於a certain conception of the American citizen後面是同位語a character［一般逗號兩邊都是名詞或名詞結構，可以判斷爲同位語結構］，其後是一個who引導的定語從句：其中主句是who is incomplete，if引導條件從句，這個條件從句中的謂語動詞assess跟了一個how引導的賓語從句。
