問：你是否瞭解被“伊斯蘭國”殺害的中國人質樊京輝的有關情況？
Q: Do you have any details on the Chinese hostage Fan Jinghui who was killed by the Islamic State?
答：被“伊斯蘭國”極端組織綁架並殺害的中國公民樊京輝來自北京市。我們對他遇難表示沉痛哀悼，向他的家人表示深切慰問。
A: The Chinese hostage Fan Jinghui kidnapped and killed by the Islamic State extremist group was from Beijing. We express our deep condolences to him and sincere sympathy to his family.
樊京輝被綁架以後，中國政府和人民十分牽掛他的安危。中國政府有關部門立即啓動應急機制，全力展開營救工作。但恐怖組織無視人類良知和道德的底線，仍然殘忍地殺害了樊京輝。我們對這一泯滅人性的暴行予以強烈譴責，一定要將犯罪分子繩之以法。
The Chinese government and people have been very concerned about Fan Jinghui’s safety since he was kidnapped. Relevant departments of the Chinese government activated emergency response mechanism upon learning the kidnapping and made all-out efforts to rescue him. However, with no regard for human conscience and moral bottom line, the terrorist organization still cruelly killed Fan Jinghui. The Chinese government strongly condemns this inhuman action and will definitely hold the perpetrators accountable.
恐怖主義是人類的公敵，中方堅決反對一切形式的恐怖主義，堅決打擊任何挑戰人類文明底線的暴力恐怖犯罪活動。我們將與國際社會進一步加強反恐合作，維護世界和平與安寧。
Terrorism is the common enemy faced by all humanity. The Chinese government opposes all forms of terrorism and firmly cracks down on any violent and terrorist crime that challenges the baseline of human civilization. The Chinese side will continue to enhance counter-terrorism cooperation with the international community and safeguard world peace and tranquility.
問：據報道，17日，緬甸全國民主聯盟主席昂山素季接受媒體採訪時表示，緬甸將繼續執行與所有國家友好相處的外交政策，更加重視與鄰國的關係，繼續奉行對華友好政策。中方對此有何評論？
Q: Chairperson Aung San Suu Kyi of the National League for Democracy (NLD) of Myanmar said in an interview on November 17 that Myanmar will continue to adopt a friendly foreign policy with all countries including China and place more emphasis on relations with its neighbors. What is your comment?
答：中緬是友好鄰邦，雙方鞏固傳統胞波情誼，深化各領域務實合作，符合兩國和兩國人民的根本利益。中方將一如既往地奉行對緬友好政策，積極開展與民盟在內的緬甸各友好黨派的交往，積極推進兩國的友好關係，不斷地造福兩國人民。
A: China and Myanmar are friendly neighbors. It serves the fundamental interests of the two countries and peoples to consolidate traditional Pauk-paw friendship and strengthen practical cooperation in various fields. The Chinese side will adhere to our friendly policy towards Myanmar, engage in active exchanges with all friendly parties in Myanmar including the NLD, and move forward bilateral amicable relationship so as to deliver more benefits to the two peoples.
問：有人認爲，目前的國際反恐措施應有所改變，因爲派遣軍隊、聯合行動等措施並未奏效，應重新審視處理問題的方法。你是否認爲應全面重新審視國際社會的反恐措施？
Q: Some people think that the current international counter-terrorism measures need to be changed, as sending troops and launching joint actions haven’t worked out well. It is time to review how to deal with this issue. Do you think there is a need for the international community to have an overall review of the counter-terrorism measures?
答：中方一貫主張，打擊恐怖主義應該標本兼治。應該充分發揮聯合國的協調作用。不應該持雙重標準，不應該將恐怖主義與特定的宗教和民族掛鉤。各國應在打擊恐怖主義方面形成合力。
A: The Chinese side always believes that when combating terrorism, we should address both the symptoms and the root causes and let the UN fulfill its coordinating role. Double standards should be abandoned and terrorism should not be linked with any specific religion or ethnicity. All countries should forge synergy in fighting against terrorism.
