第二， 地道表達
brush sb. off
1. 解詞釋義
Brush sb. off表示“不理睬某人”“漠視某人”，多用於非正式場合。用連字符將brush和off連在一起就變成了名詞，即：brush-off。這樣的話，就產生了一個意思和它一樣的習語：give sb. a brush-off。
2. 拓展例句
e.g. Paul asked Tara out to dinner but she brushed him off .
