In paths untrodden,

在無人問津的小徑上，

In the growth by margins of pond-waters,

在池塘岸邊的草木中，

Escaped from the life that exhibits itself,

脫去自以爲是的生命，

From all the standards hitherto publish'd, from the pleasures, profits, conformities,

脫去束縛我心的教條，享樂，金錢，妥協，

Which too long I was offering to feed my soul,
