Jane說到的get hitched是什麼意思呢？今天，我們就來學習hitched這個原味表述。To be hitched means to be married. 在文中是表示“結婚”，經常和get搭配使用，即：get hitched。我們再通過下面的例句來熟悉它的意思和運用：

1. After dating for fourteen years, Jim and Jane are going to get hitched. （戀愛十四年之後，Jim和Jane終於要結婚了。）

Hitched 是非正式書面用語，那麼，“Debbie and Ken are getting hitched next month!”用標準書面英語說則是： Debbie and Ken are getting married next month!
