Serena: Okay, can you just take my mind off of me? Talk about anything.
Blair: Did he say it like...
Serena: Anything but--
Blair: "I love her"?" 
Serena: I totally set myself up for that one.

take my mind off: 不去想，轉移注意力。這裏S和B在聊gossip girl, S的意思是拜託你，我們換個話題吧。
I totally set myself up for that one: set up表示“陷害，設圈套”，這句話的意思是“都是我自找的”，有點像中文的“自作孽”。前面S要B換個話題，於是B又那Chuck說“I love you”這件事情來煩S，所以S說自己繞來繞去，還是沒的安寧。

Vanessa: So that's the big news.
Nate: As for today ,I got my mom and my grandpa to agree to sit together, so that's something. 

internship: 實習
so that's something: 那還不錯，那還挺了不起

Rufus: Well, it's not exactly-- uh, we're just enjoying the journey.

take the plunge: to marry someone. plunge本意是跳入，冒險做某事，這個詞組除了結婚，還可以用來指你經過很長一段時間猶豫後，最終決定做某事。
we're just enjoying the journey: 享受過程
that no longer seems to be the case: 現在已經不是那樣了，情況已經不同了

Chuck: I'm way ahead of you. 

way ahead of you: 早就想到，在你說之前我就想過了。這句話用在你們兩人想同一件事情或者想說同一句，但是對方比你快一步說出來，你就可以說way ahead of you, 意思是我只是說的比你晚，但其實我也想到了。

Jenny: Nothing in here's good enough to beat the new girl... except for this.
Eric: No way. 

borrow you for a minute: 借一步說話
No way: 這裏不是“沒門”的意思了，這裏表示“不是吧，不會吧”，驚訝的意思

hit a movie: 看電影，hit是一個很百搭的單詞，有點”do”的意思，比較隨意的講法。洗澡也可以說hit a shower, 出發、上路就是hit the road

juicy: interesting and exciting，形容八卦很吸引人

leave alone: leave unchanged or undisturbed or refrain from taking，放手，相當於let it go
get a problem with: 很口語化的講法，表示有意見，有問題
take up: deal with, 和她去交涉，找她算帳

Dan: Oh, that makes sense.
Nate: Wait. They're a team.
Blair: Team of what? 

that makes sense: 這就說的通了，這就有道理了。當時Nate, Serena, Dan都在酒吧裏等gossip girl, 結果等來的是Blair, Dan說這句話的意思就是Blair是最有可能是gossip girl的人。makes sense在否定句裏(it doesn’t make any sense)用的也很多，意思是某句話“毫無道理，一點都說不通”。
Team of what: “什麼團隊”這句話讓我們說的話很容易會翻成”what team”, 但其實應該用team of what, 這個就是很典型的中文和英文思維差異。
