Catherine所在的公司每週一召開例會。這天又是星期一，剛午休完畢，大家還沒緩過勁兒來，只見美國老總突然急匆匆走過來，氣喘吁吁地說：Round everybody up, we must hold a meeting right now.

Round everybody up. 大家集合。

round在這裏是動詞，當和副詞up連用時，表示“使人或物聚攏來，使某人[某物]集合在一起”，所以round sb./sth. up意思就是“使人或物集合起來”。例如：The guide rounded up the tourists and led them back to the coach. 導遊把遊客集合在一起，領他們回到車上。
